The Andover Elder and Disabled Tax Fund Committee are accepting applications from elder and disabled Andover homeowners who need help paying their property tax bills. If you or someone you know is 62 years of age or older, considered to be disabled, and owned a home in Andover on January 1st of this year, they may qualify for this program. Who Is Eligible?

Homeowners aged 62 and older and disabled homeowners of any age who own a home in Andover and meet the income limits are eligible for the fund. The income limits for the 2019-2020 fiscal year are $38,640 for individuals and $52,260 for couples.

What is the Process?

If you believe that you or someone you know meets the eligibility criteria, the next step is to fill out an application. Applications can be obtained from the Andover Elder Services Division and must be postmarked by 4 p.m. on November 15th. Once applications have been received, they will be reviewed by the committee and a determination will be made based on need.
